HJQ offers advisory and guidance for companies to comply with the Skills Development Act. We provide support that our clients need and oversee their journey to compliance.

We assist with application processes and guidelines to acquire funding/bursary from SETA and accreditation for training providers from various SETAs.

How do we assist you to comply with the skills act?

HJQ registered SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) acts on behalf of the company as their Skills Development Facilitator. 

We conduct a skills audit, develop a workplace skills plan and identify the correct OFO codes for different job titles as required by the SETA.

We manage the full process of Mandatory, Discretionary and Pivotal Grants applications with various SETAs.  
Pivotal Programmes are those Professional, Vocational, Technical and Academic learning programmes that meet the critical needs for economic growth and social development.

We track the BBBEE scorecard monthly and analyse the results so that we can offer advice to our clients on how to improve or maintain an excellent BBBEE score.

We assist companies who run Learnerships to claim TAX Rebates. Claiming Tax rebates helps with job creation, reduces cost of hiring and training also promotes skills development.
